Genuine SMOK TFV12 Prince coils, also sold as V12 Prince coils, are the replacement heads for the SMOK TFV12 Prince sub-ohm tank. Each pack contains 3 coils, and the range covers everything from the flavour-focused Mesh and M4 to the high-power T10 and Max Mesh, so you can set up your tank exactly how you like to vape.

All TFV12 Prince coils are sub-ohm, direct-to-lung (DTL) coils. They work best with high VG e-liquids such as 70/30 or max VG shortfills, giving big clouds with rich flavour.

Which TFV12 Prince coil should I choose?

• Mesh 0.15 ohm - 40W to 80W (best 60W to 70W). Smooth, even heating and strong flavour at moderate power. A good all-round choice.
• Dual Mesh 0.2 ohm - 70W to 120W (best 85W to 105W). Two mesh strips for denser clouds with full flavour.
• Triple Mesh 0.15 ohm - 80W to 130W (best 100W to 120W). Three mesh strips for maximum vapour production.
• Max Mesh 0.17 ohm - 70W to 130W (best 100W to 120W). A large mesh surface for warm, intense clouds.
• Strip 0.15 ohm - 40W to 100W (best 80W to 90W). A flat strip coil that heats up quickly with a punchy flavour.
• Q4 0.4 ohm - 40W to 100W (best 60W to 80W). A quad-core coil with a higher resistance that is easier on battery life.
• M4 0.17 ohm - 30W to 70W (best 40W to 60W). Four coils that run at lower power, ideal for smaller mods.
• X2 Clapton 0.4 ohm - 40W to 80W (best 60W to 70W). Dual Clapton wire for a warm, flavourful vape.
• X6 0.15 ohm - 50W to 120W (best 80W to 100W). A sextuple-core coil built for big clouds.
• T10 0.12 ohm - 60W to 120W (best 80W to 110W). A ten-coil head for the highest vapour output in the range.
• T10 Red Light 0.12 ohm - 60W to 120W (best 80W to 110W). The same T10 head with a red LED that glows when you fire.
• RBA 0.25 ohm - A rebuildable dual-coil deck, so you can build and wick your own coils.

If flavour matters most, start with the Mesh, Dual Mesh or X2 Clapton. If you want the biggest clouds, try the T10, Triple Mesh or Max Mesh.

These coils do not fit the original TFV12, the TFV12 Baby Prince or TFV8 tanks.

How to prime and look after your coils

• Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton, fit the coil, fill the tank and leave it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes before vaping.
• Start at the lower end of the wattage range and increase slowly until you find your sweet spot.
• Most coils last 1 to 2 weeks. Change your coil when the flavour fades or tastes burnt. Sweet, dark e-liquids wear coils out faster.

Sub-ohm safety

These coils are for sub-ohm vaping only. Use a mod that can fire sub-ohm atomisers and batteries rated for the power you vape at. Sub-ohm vaping produces more vapour, so a lower nicotine strength, typically 3mg or 6mg, is recommended.
